ENBALA Power - Broader Public Sector
ENBALA pays large municipal electricity users for participating in the Smart Grid. Show your leadership.
LEARN. QUALIFY. CONNECT. GET PAID.
LEARN.
The ENBALA Power Network pays large municipal electricity users for contributing the inherent flexibility in how their electrical equipment uses power to provide system balance and quality services to the regional electricity system.
Network participants are paid based on the size assets that participate in the network and the level of flexibility that those assets can provide. ENBALA’s unique platform allows participants to specify their own, customized constraints on flexibility and availability -- so that there is no impact on the effective operations of their equipment or processes.
This also means that customers with processes that might vary by time of day or even seasonally, can still participate -- the ENBALA Power Network is resilient and can adapt to different and changing levels of flexibility - even in real time.
By connecting to the ENBALA Power Network, the members of the broader public sector can demonstrate participation in a leading smart grid program, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and participate in integrating renewable power sources to the grid – all while getting paid for it.
QUALIFY.
Many facilities and operations in the broader public sector use large amounts of electricity in their daily operations. Many of these have some flexibility in their operations and can participate for significant value in the ENBALA Power Network.
Some examples of operations that qualify to participate in the ENBALA Power Network are:
Water Treatment & Distribution
Pumps use large amounts of energy to distribute clean water to the end user, and can have power use modulated without impacting primary operating objectives.
Waste Water Facilities
Waste water facilities use energy-hungry aerators to treat and clean waste water. Again, this equipment can be modulated in real time without impact on operational effectiveness, equipment lifecyle costs or safety.
CONNECT. GET PAID.
Want to see if you can harvest some of your equipment’s flexibility and get paid for participating in the smart grid? Call ENBALA. We will set up a site visit to work with you to explore the opportunities with your equipment and operations to participate in the ENBALA Power Network.
